Deflin Skydiving Byron Bay

January 27th, 2010 | by admin |

Sorry about the audio. There were some capture problems from the DVD.

This is a video of my sky dive over Byron Bay in Summer of ‘07. The dive was from 14,000 ft. and free-fall (minus drag chute) was about 65-60 seconds. It was absolutely spectacular. It was something I never thought I’d do and now know that I’ll be doing again. Enjoy! Comments are welcome.

Haha oh man! I went skydiving last summer and the video that was shot was so similar to this one–only I didn’t get to jump somewhere as spectacular as Australia. Nevertheless, watching the moment when you first leave the plane had me smiling SO big… It brought back that amazing feeling and excitement! I can’t wait to be able to do it again. Fantastic video!

Truly, this is the most coolester thing I ever darn did see you do. As a youtube vid, it rocks too. Right to the point, good suspense, and excellent footage.

Its kinda weird to see my brother falling at terminal velocity and salute at the same time. Anyhow, it looks absolutely beautiful there, and you’ve inspired me to try that some time.

Thanks Pedro! I WAS nervous, but wasn’t locked up or anything. They don’t want you flailing around, so you’re supposed to keep your feet tucked under the plane, your hands on your straps, and your head back. You can see him demonstrate it at 1:30 or so. Thanks for the stars!

My hands were sweating for you! I was looking at your body language before you jump and I noticed some sort of tension. am I correct or you were just following procedure before the jump? I gave you 5 stars btw!
