in your opinion who will start or should start for the Tampa Bay Bucs at QB Byron Leftwhich or Josh Johnson?

id have to say josh johnson its his time to take over the team at QB and have leftwhich at backup,. thoughts and opinons
dude johnson isnt a rookie hes been on the team since last year. i think u mean josh freeman…

Depends on whether or not they draft Josh Freeman or not, since Tampa is still very high on him. To start the season though, it will be between McCown and Leftwich. Once they are out of contention, which will be before midseason, you could see Johnson or Freeman, if they draft him.

    Leftwich proved he could play last year and unless Johnson shows hes significantly better than Byron he should stay on the bench and learn from a decent veteran.

    I don’t think Josh Johnson should start. The Bucs hired Leftwich for a reason, and it wasn’t just to be a back up. After the bad move they made when they released Jeff Garcia, they needed to replace him with someone who was proven. Leftwich may not have had a great career, but he is proven to some extent. Johnson is a rookie or will be when he is drafted. The fact is rookies have to go through growing pains. There are a few rookies like Flacco and Matt Ryan that actually have great seasons especially at the QB position. The Bucs can’t afford to have a losing season. They need a QB that can get them wins sooner. Leftwich looked good when he stepped in for Rothlisberger last season. I think he will get the job, but the competition must come first. Overall I think it would be a great move if he started.

    They should draft John Freeman he would fit their offense perfectly and the Bucs have all the weapons for him to be successful.

    They brought leftwich in to lead that team as some what of a last resort. Josh Johnson doesn’t experience and so they brought in a guy that does to lead and for Josh to study. I think ultimately the Bucs will snag Josh Freeman and have him mentored by leftwich
