Moving to Byron Bay NSW..?

Hey, my family and I are considering moving to Byron Bay.

If you live there or know of BB, could you please tell me what it’s like, good things, the bad, etc.

THe good: great surf and relaxed people
THe bad: too many stoned people, traffic terrible, tourist and outsiders arnt always welcome

    When I was last there, I vowed never to go back and haven’t been back. The town was dirty with rubbish everywhere and on a friday, saturday and Sunday you have got drunk or stoned people everywhere, especially near the pub and beach front. The on top of that you have them vomiting and urinating in front of you. I can think of much better towns to live in than Byron bay, and what I have said is true.

    Just like any town in any place in the entire world, there is good and bad parts. Remember that you get what you pay for – if you rent the cheapest place you find, it is likely to be in a crummy side of town. So bear that in mind.

    Maybe you could stay at a hotel in the area to get a good feel of what the area is like, first hand.
