Buddy Guy performs Hoochie Coochie Man live at the East Coast Blues and Roots Music Festival in Byron Bay, Australia. Bluesfest is held over 5 days every Easter. This performance was on the festival’s Crossroads stage on Thursday night, 20 March 2008.
The dialogue in the beginning refers to Keb Mo not being able to join him onstage.

Relax, listen and watch the surf roll in at the iconic King’s Beach. This beach has to be one of the most beautiful surf beaches located anywhere in the world. It is near Byron Bay headland, the most Easterly point of the Australian continent. Two Sisters Rock is visible extending from the Broken Head headland.
